Necesitamos voluntarios y voluntarias que les guste los animales. Somos el único refugio de animales de toda la isla, una organización sin ánimo de lucro que poco a poco va creciendo y cómo tal, recibiendo a cada vez más animales que lo necesitan. Las funciones de los nuevos voluntarios y voluntarias serán tareas básicas de apoyo en el refugio, tales como la limpieza, pasear y cuidar a nuestros animales y disfrutar de ellos.

I could learn a lot during my two months at the project and it was a really nice experience! I loved working with the cats and taking care of them. Also my tasks were really diverse which was great, for example cleaning the rooms, bathing the cats, painting, preparing food and medication but also going for a walk with a dog or sometimes to the vet. (If you're more of a dog-person, you can choose to work more with them) Also everyone from the team was super friendly and helpful, thank u for everything:) I'd recommend this opportunity to every animal-lover!

My volunteering experience at Pro Animal in La the project was just wonderful! The whole team is very welcoming and happy to help you. The tasks are quite easy and they give you a lot of freedom when you want to work which was amazing. You have more than enough time to explore the island. The only thing which I think is important to know, is that your Spanish should be on a good level to enjoy this experience even more. But even for me with very basic Spanish knowledge it was an overall amazing experience and I will defenitely come back at some point :)

Este voluntariado es una opción increíble, en la que te sumerges en la Isla y conoces a sus habitantes. Si amas los animales, siempre vas a estar rodeado de ellos, los vas a cuidar, todos los animales son maravillosos y están perfectamente cuidados y atendidos. El equipo de Pro Animal fue increíble y trabajaron genial conmigo. Ha sido una experiencia inolvidable.

Mis 3 semanas en el proyeto se han convertido en la experiencia mas bonita que he vivido en mi vida hasta ahora. El equipazo de trabajadores del refugio me recibieron con los brazos mas que abiertos haciéndome sentir una mas desde que llegué y ayudandome en todo. Tuve todo lo necesario para sentirme en casa desde el minuto uno. En cuanto al trabajo, ha sido un 100000 de 10. Increible. Ni siquiera se le puede llamar trabajo. Es recibir y dar amor a todas horas, limpiar jaulas por amor, dar de cenar a gatos y perritos por amor, fregar y poner lavadoras por amor… Y volver llena de amor

El equipo del proyeto es como una familia en la que te incluyen, tienen un interés real en el bienestar de los animales, siempre están dispuestos a ayudarte si necesitas algo o llevarte a qualquier lado. Si os gustan de verdad los animales, pasar tiempo con ellos, su bienestar y aprender de ellos no os lo penséis dos veces. Además la isla es preciosa para visitar.
