The Experience

We are a family who work in organic and ecological agriculture- also known as permaculture. We live in Chazuta, a little city famous for its culture, habits, tradition, agriculture and forest conservation. We work with varied crops from which we cook typical gastronomy and make organic handmade chocolates as well as other cacao products. We are also promoting agro-tourism and eco-tourism and offer the typical lodging, all in harmony with nature.

This experience was absolutely amazing! The family at the project welcomed me like a daughter and I felt like at home the all time. I have learnt so much about organic cocoa, medical plants and living sustainable. I highly recommend a visit. The people, the food, the accommodation, the tasks and work, everything was just great. Don't miss it out!

Sometimes in life you meet truly inspiring people. People with a vision and passion for what they do. Heribierto and his family, Maria-Elena, Cristian and all the others are those kind of people. During my stay I learnt a lot about agriculture, about plants and how to use them, about the significance of sustainability in times like these… They shared their richness of nature and welcomed me as a part of their family. It was an unforgettable experience and I'm more thank thankful for this opportunity. The accommodation was quite rustic but perfect to connect with nature ;) Disfruta! <3
