This hostel is a great place to connect with all different kinds of people and the staff is very welcoming. It's very easy to make friends for lifetime here. Also the country is still one of the hidden gems and offers lots of nature that can be explored.

I had a really great time at the hostel. Everyone was really welcoming and the work was chill, all the hours respected. Besides, the location is really at the historical centre! I was able to connect to a lot of people, practice English and even help a bit w/ my poor Spanish hahah. Though it's not a party hostel, it has nice places to socialize. In the middle of the time I had applied, I started feeling rly sick and was a bit scared. I decided to leave back to my country to take care of myself and they were really understanding. Thank you to all the hostel team for receiving me!

The period at the hostel was a great experience! We talked to a lot of people and learnt many things. It is a hostel that was recently renovated and is just at the beginning of a new phase. The structure is very good, with good rooms, bathrooms, garden, shared kitchen and other living areas. Near the building there are restaurants, snack bars and supermarkets. The hostel team was always available for help us, in person or remotely. We thank Marlies, Bryan, Jeanette and the entire hostel team for the great days we lived there. We recommend volunteering at the hostel.

Great experience! We were very well received and well treated by the staff of the hostel. We work mainly with guest reception and cleaning tasks. Whether in person or remotely, the team was always willing to guide and help us, clarifying doubts when necessary. We had a nice little room available to us and, in the morning, we had a simple breakfast for free, which was very important for us during our stay. With this experience, we got to know Paramaribo better, talk to nice people and learn a lot. We will miss the days we were there and the dear people. Thanks the entire hostel team!!
