Quinh was a great host and tried her best to make me as comfortable as possible despite the accommodation being a little awkward for me at times. Quinh was responsive and helpful whenever I contacted her.

I stayed for 19 days and had a wonderful experience at CTE. The staff at the center is really nice and caring, the locals who come to events want to practice their English and talk to foreigners. I had the most fun at debates! The volunteer dorm is located in the nice local area next to a little market, where I bought the best fruit! The only downside for me was lack of kitchen in the accommodation. Overall, I had a great experience volunteering at CTE and would recommend it to anyone seeking to immerse themselves into Vietnamese city life, to meet locals and learn a few words in Vietnamese!

I had a wonderfull experience at CTE. Everyone is so lovely! I had the chance to meet many locals and make friends. You have a lot of free time to explore the city or do other things for yourself, as you usually only work for around 2h a day. CTE also usually organizes different events that you can participate in. The only negative point is that the accommodation doesn't have a kitchen, so you usually have to go out to get food. Also the space is limited and it can get quite crowded when it's full.

I would definitely recommend this volunteering experience. Not only was the staff very nice and helpful (I even got a few extra days off, because I got sick during my stay), I've also met a lot of great people, including my dorm mates. The work hours weren't too much and transportation was paid for. The tours that got planed are fun, but sometimes communication about organization was a tiny bit of (I'd still very much recommend). Thanks for this opportunity, I would do it again. :)

I really really enjoyed my stay at Vietnam working for the CTE! It was just a few hours work per day (so you have plenty of time to explore the city) and even those hours were not only fun, but also helped me to understand and love Vietnamesethe coliving. The people working at the CTE are respectful, reliable and kind and will try to help you when you have problems. Your job will be to talk to people, that want to practice their English skills, but don't worry, they are all very kind and curious and it was never hard for me to have a good conversation. Thank you so much CTE!
